Mount
Clemens Regional Medical Center offers residency training
in Urological Surgery as a member of the Michigan State
University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSU-COM) consortium.
Other consortium members include several hospital within the Statewide Campus System (SCS).
The intensive curriculum covers cognitive, psychomotor and affective objectives
in the field of urology during OGME years 2 through 5. OGME year 1
includes general internship/surgery exposure
Program features include:

Monthly rotations at consortium hospitals
- Emphasis on scientific research under the
guidance of clinical faculty

Presentation of research at the Michigan
Urologic Society meetings

Affiliation with William Beaumont Hospital for
pediatric urology

Participation in medical education through teaching of externs and
interns in clinical settings and through lectures

Rotations at DMC

Access to 15 plus consortium staff

Duration of program: 5 years
AOA approved positions: 23 in consortium (1 funded
position at McLaren Macomb)
